Mayhem Big Game - 2010

Powerball launched our latest paintball 'Mirage' at the Mayhem Big Game, held on 15th August at the Mayhem site in Essex. The Abridge venue has long standing popularity with rental customers, walk-ons and tournament players alike due to the professionalism and attention to detail of the Mayhem staff so it was no surprise to hear good reports of their Big Game, 'World At War' from players who had attended. The game attracted a good turn out players and we understand that everyone enjoyed a great days paintballing, without a single complaint about the Mirage ball, which completely sold out on the day ahead of other brands.

This was the first outing for the Mirage paint and we were very happy with the way our new ball performed. We had excellent feedback from David Hodder of Mayhem Events: "The paint was very good, slightly
harder than the average ball, ideal for woodland play. Also, with it's camo shell was very hard to spot 'in-flight' so it gave the players that extra shot or two on someone before they realised where the paint was coming from and it was a bright marker. What else can you ask from a woodland ball?"

So there you go! If you are running a walk-on / scenario event at your centre in the near future why not give the Mirage ball a tryout. Trouble free results will mean you have more time to enjoy running your event and less time (or no time..) listening to complaints about the paint :) But order well in advance as it's flying off the shelves at the moment!
